Our Hygienists

For healthy gums and shining teeth, appointments are available with one of our hygienists, Beverly, Lydia or Julia.  Whichever you see,  she will give the best personalised advice for maintaining a healthy and confident smile.

 

 

Beverly Bee

Beverly joined the practice in 2007 after working for several years at Glenfield Hospital, where she specialised in treating patients with advanced or aggressive periodontal disease.

She qualified at the Liverpool School for Dental Hygiene, winning the Oral B Examination Award there. 

She lives in Birstall with her family and enjoys reading and walking.  She has recently taken up running with an aim to take part in a charity race.

Lydia Pantling

Lydia qualified as a dental hygienist at Liverpool Dental Hospital in1988. 

She has since worked in practices in Leicester and  surrounding villages as well as gaining experience working with an oral surgeon  and implantologist.

She is committed to providing the best possible treatment for her patients and is known to have a gentle approach to dental hygiene, working well with anxious patients and regularly undertakes continued professional development.

Lydia lives locally and enjoys walking with her dog, spending time with her friends, two grown up sons and travelling and visiting new places.

Julia Scott

Julia graduated from Leeds Dental institute in 1999 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene. A highly motivated, fully qualified Dental Hygienist with a wide knowledge of practice working and patient empathy. 

Julia is very outgoing and will put you at your ease.

Our hygienists may well recommend oral health products to you to enable you to take the best possible care of your teeth and gums.  We hold many of these products in stock at Granby House



We know from our last questionnaire, that many of you would like to have your teeth cleaned and polished more frequently.

In response, we have extended our dental hygiene services. So, if you want to freshen your mouth before an important event such as a birthday, wedding or holiday, or just increase the frequency from your usual six monthly visits please ask your dentist, hygienist or receptionist to arrange an appointment.

These hygiene appointments are available to all our patients at Granby House on request
